How to fill it in
Log the poop first
Time and Bristol type. If you only manage one thing, make it this.
Food in plain words
“Pasta, coffee with milk” is enough. No weights or calories.
Use numbers for symptoms
Pain and bloating from 0 to 10 are easier to compare than words.
Back-fill, don’t quit

NHS advice for IBS includes keeping a diary of what you eat and any symptoms you get. NHS A diary shows what happened, not what caused it. Talk it through with your doctor or dietitian. More tips: how to keep a diary you’ll actually keep.
